When it comes to new business, think small
Despite big projects, Cuyahoga County's economic development model will be built on small entrepreneurs

Cuyahoga County Executive Ed Fitzgerald is also the chairman of the county's new Economic Development Commission. The commission is mandated by the county charter to produce a 5-year plan to boost job growth. That plan is due June 1st.

A new commission charged with creating jobs in Cuyahoga County debuted this week.  Voters mandated the Economic Development Commission as part of the government overhaul in Ohio’s most populous county.   And while Cleveland is on the cusp of a building boom with 4 major projects in the works, WKSU’s Jeff St.Clair reports that County Executive Ed Fitzgerald is encouraging the group to think small.
