Senate staffers given pay raises after budget cuts

During the latest budget crunch, state government in Ohio has slashed spending on many programs. Meanwhile, legislators passed a new collective bargaining law, aimed at holding down pay hikes and benefits for teachers and other government workers. However, the legislators have just handed some pay increases to key staffers in the Ohio Senate.
