Ohio’s lieutenant governor has been an outspoken critic of Obamacare. But when it comes to Medicaid expansion, Mary Taylor says she’s for it.

“Well as you know the governor has been very vocal. He had a rally here in Columbus yesterday. And he’s going to push on. And I support the governor.” 

Gov. Kasich says Obamacare and Medicaid expansion are two entirely different things. He says Medicaid expansion is allowing federal dollars for an existing program to come back to Ohio taxpayers. Kasich says he wants Ohio lawmakers to expand Medicaid so that 275,000 low-income Ohioans can get on the federal health care program.
