Cavs one win away from title berth
Backed by 37 points from LeBron James, Cavs hold off Hawks for 3-0 lead
by WKSU's AMANDA RABINOWITZ

The Cavs are one win away from a trip to the NBA finals. LeBron James shook off an atrocious shooting start and withstood Atlanta's gritty comeback to record a triple-double, and the Cavs beat the Hawks 114-111 in overtime Sunday night. They now have 3-to-nothing series lead. James missed his first 10 shots, but finished with 37 points. WKSU commentator Terry Pluto says the Cavs, with coach David Blatt, have remarkably navigated injuries to key starters.

"There's never a team in NBA history that's been down 3-0 to come back and win the series, a best-of-seven. I like how David Blatt said, 'We're the big one.' He didn't just mean LeBron James, but he meant how LeBron has this whole team pulling together, winning with defense, playing unselfishly and having one identity," Pluto says.

The Cavs will go for the series sweep Tuesday night at the Q. If they win, they’ll play the winner of the Golden State Warriors/Houston Rockets series. Golden State has a 3-0 lead.
