The deadline for registering to vote or submitting a change of address in Ohio is today.

Statewide, voters in November will decide whether to change how legislative districts are drawn and whether to legalize marijuana. In Northeast Ohio, they'll also be voting for the mayors of Akron and Canton.

Jeanette Mullane, deputy director of the Stark County Board of Elections, says offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“You can get an application from our website or come to the board of elections and fill out a form in person at the board office. There are a number of places such as libraries, high schools and other organizations where you can obtain a voter registration form," Mullane says.

Ohio law requires voters to be registered to vote  30 days before an election to be eligible. Mullane says registered voters who need to change their address can do so online at the Board of Elections or the Ohio Secretary of State’s website.
