“It actually clipped telephone wires or electrical wires to begin with, and then a house, and then an embankment, and then the debris and the fire extended on until an additional house. It isn’t quite as damaged as the original house that was struck by the plane.”
Officials says the first house hit was completely destroyed by the fire. They say nobody was home at the time of the crash and that nobody on the ground was injured.
Authorities would not confirm the exact number of people on the plane, but the owner and operator told the Beacon Journal there were two pilots and seven passengers on board. He said he would not identify who they were until their families had been identified.
